gimMe Snack project

In my exploration of various approaches to rebrand familiar products, I turned my attention to successful market players such as gimMe Snacks, Colgate, and Snuggle, each boasting years of market dominance. However, I realized that, at times, excessive innovation can backfire, and instead, simplicity and effectiveness can yield better results.

For gimMe Snacks, my focus shifted to building customer loyalty and enhancing engagement. I conceived "gimMe Rewards," a loyalty program incentivizing customers for purchases on our online store. This program enables customers to accumulate and track points, redeemable for future purchases. Additionally, I proposed an approach inviting customers to share their comments, encouraging feedback to improve our products and services.

Another suggested approach involves implementing a "back-in-stock reminder" system, keeping subscribers engaged and informed when their favorite products are available again. This ensures ongoing communication with subscribers, sustaining their interest in our products. Through these strategies, my aim is to cultivate a sense of community around the brand and forge stronger relationships with customers.

While these ideas originate from a mere intern, I am optimistic that they can lead to significant opportunities for me to manage new projects. Through collaboration and innovative ideas, I believe we can build upon gimMe Snacks' existing success and propel the brand to new heights.

"gimMe Rewards" email

After analyzing data, we identified an uptick in email unsubscribes during the third quarter of 2022 for gimMe Snacks. This prompted a closer examination of our marketing strategy, leading to the exploration of new ideas for subscriber engagement.

One prospective solution involves introducing a rewards program, where customers earn points for online store purchases, redeemable for free products, discounts, or other perks. Additionally, we aim to incentivize purchases through a complimentary delivery offer.

Understanding the significance of customer appreciation, I believe these reward programs and free delivery incentives will help retain current subscribers and attract new ones.

However, it's essential to ensure our content remains valuable and relevant. To achieve this, we plan to map customer journeys and analyze data to comprehend our target audience's preferences and needs better. This approach will enable us to tailor communications and resources, delivering the most useful information at the right time.

Feedback request email

I brainstormed ways to elevate the overall customer experience for gimMe Snacks. One idea that surfaced involves gathering consumer feedback and integrating it into our business strategy.

Took inspiration from Walmart's survey email, I crafted a tailored version for gimMe Snacks. The goal is to prompt customers to share their opinions, aiding us in refining our products and services. To express gratitude for their feedback, customers will have a chance to win 40% off their entire shopping cart. This approach not only fosters a strong customer relationship but also allows us to comprehend their needs and preferences, subsequently improving our business strategy.

Through this approach, we established a win-win scenario where customers feel valued and heard, while concurrently enhancing our brand and overall customer satisfaction.

Reminder email

The "back in stock reminder" email is a crucial tool for maintaining customer engagement and sustaining interest in your products. Beyond notifying them of the availability of previously sought-after items, it presents an opportunity to showcase other products they may have overlooked.

This email type can be tailored to the customer's past purchases or browsing history, enhancing the likelihood of their interest in the suggested items. Moreover, with exclusive web store links and free shipping promotions, customers are motivated to make additional purchases, boosting their overall cart value.

Utilized reminder emails also serves to gauge demand for specific products, aiding in informed inventory decisions for the future. In essence, the "back in stock reminder" email stands as a valuable marketing tool, driving sales and ensuring continued customer engagement with your brand.
